Mainly it is about acquiring image clarity; about differentiating diseased tissue from a normal tissue background.

Webinars Credit
The Breast Tomosynthesis webinars will satisfy the 8 hour requirement mandated by the MQSA to have before being allowed to perform Breast Tomosynthesis in a Breast Imaging facility.
In addition, this webinars will be accredited for 8 Category A CE’s by the ASRT.
Who Should Attend
This program is intended for all x-ray technologists who are in need of Cat A CE's and who are interested in learning more about Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT). This program does meet the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirement for 8 hours in Digital Breast Tomosynthesis before performing mammograms on a breast tomosynthesis unit.
Even though this course is only Cat A approved, it satisfies the MQSA requirement for 8 hours in Digital Breast Tomosynthesis for physicists as well.
